The starter package sends either an email or fax with the customer's order information. The information can then be inputed into your POS to process the order. A myfax account is not necessary for this package. It is only offered for your convenience. From our experience, a fax machine is more accessible to employees than a computer with email. Because of the busy nature of food service, it is recommended that you select the option to receive automated phone calls that notify you when an order has been placed. However, restaurants have found creative ways to avoid the automated phone calls. One suggestion is to locate the fax machine near the front of the house by the cash registers where it can be easily monitored by your staff.
